Updated Sultra The Flirt Flat Iron review

Hey Guys! Today I am going to be doing an updated Sultra The Flirt Flat iron review. If you’re wondering it is an “updated” review because a while back when I have first started using it I had posted a youtube video, which is still up for whatever reason about my experiences with it. Moving on to a less embarrassing topic and on to the point. This was purchased as a gift for myself for $59.99 roughly 2 and a half years ago. The Flat iron was purchased at a beauty professionals store and I believe it was a limited edition for breast cancer awareness so I do not believe you can purchase this anymore. It’s hot pink and is sparkly.

Although you probably cannot purchase this product anymore I felt that it was important to write a post about it because it has proved to be one of the best tools I’ve ever used. Included with the flat iron came a fabric mat which helps protect counter tops when using this flat iron and also is handy to remove an residue left on the flat iron after use. The cord is a swivel cord so you do not have to worry about bending the cord or any of those concerns and there is also a little hook. The cord is a very good length so no extension cords or any of that would be needed.

There are 5 heat settings 190, 250, 300, 350, 410 F. I always find myself using the highest which is probably not the best idea for my hair but it gets the job done the fastest. It usually takes within 5 to 10 seconds for the flat iron to heat up which to me is super impressive considering the beatings this poor flat iron has taken. The plates are one inch and ceramic with a on/off switch.

Putting all the facts aside I have really enjoyed using this flat iron. It works like a charm and I can only think of one negative thing to say about this flat iron, the smell when I straighten it. Which personally isn’t enough to stop me from using it. I went from using a walmart brand flat iron that would take me 40 minutes up to an hour to straighten my hair to this flat iron where it would take me anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes. Since using this flat iron i’ve had different types of hair lengths short to long and somewhere in between and it never fails me. My hair looks shiny, healthy and beautiful after I straighten it and still manages to hold on even when it is humid. To sum this review up, the day this flat iron breaks on me is the day I am sad but go out running to purchase another Sultra flat iron.

I would definitely repurchase this product and recommend it !

P.S I have also curled my hair with it and it does a pretty decent job.
